Strings n Things

Introduction

We are simply a group of local people who enjoy making music and singing our favourite songs. We play all sorts of instruments but mainly guitars and ukuleles.

History

We started meeting in the Village Hall back in 2022, when a group of us thought it would be fun to play together. At that time we had about 15 songs to play. The emphasis was on Fun Fun Fun, not necessarily being accurate with the music or the singing. This approach has stood the test of time and we now have about 26 members and about 150 songs in our repertoire.

Meeting Place

The village hall (picture left) in Trearddur Bay is a perfect location for jams and events. It is located just off the main road (B45454) that runs through Trearddur Bay, see map below.

Meeting Times

We meet at 4pm - 6pm every Friday. We break at 5pm for a cuppa.
